On July 2, 2019, Sebastien Bede, higher Education Commissioner of the Consulate General of France in Wuhan, Ms. Li Dan, higher Education Cooperation Project Officer of the Consulate General of France in Wuhan, Bertrand Blancheton, Dean of the Economics and Management of Bordeaux University in France, President Gan Xiaoqing, President Tang Jianchang came to Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute to discuss cooperation. Hu Wei, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of our university, warmly received Sebastien Bede and his entourage. The two sides discussed and exchanged views on strengthening international cooperation between the two universities.

The two sides reached a preliminary consensus on the establishment of the Belt and Road International Research Center by Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute at Bordeaux University in France, sharing academic journals, information and research results of the two universities, absorbing scholars from both sides to carry out research on ceramic trade between China-France and China -Europe, jointly holding international academic seminars, and actively promoting student exchange and teacher visits between the two universities, and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
